Lucky Cloud' Celadon Cup

This magnificent cup is fired in Longquan by Huaxian Lei, who uses the cities renowned 1000-year-old glazing technique, and is a well-known Chinese ceramist whose work is displayed at the G20 summit in Huangzhou and is part of the collection of Alibaba founder Jack Ma. Covered overall with an even glaze of sea-green tone, the cup is sitting on a foot ring, from which the cylindrical body raises towards a slightly everted rim. The elegant cloud pattern incised on the exterior of the cup characterises this porcelain masterpiece.
